Hotshot is the most personal equipment class we dispatch. Most of these trucks are owned by one person, run by that same person, and financed on a promise. We treat it that way. We dispatch gooseneck and flatbed trailers 40 foot and under, pulled behind a one-ton. Non-CDL rigs stay under 26,000 pounds, and we respect that limit on every load. You tell us your setup and we do not push past it. The hotshot world has a bad habit: dispatchers charging 9 to 10 percent of the load, on top of a weekly fee, with no breakdown. That cuts straight into what a one-truck operation needs to survive. Flat pricing fixes it. You pay one flat price, and you see the broker rate and our fee on the same screen. Most hotshot freight is expedite work. It loads fast, it moves fast, and it has to arrive on time. We watch the expedite boards, we keep the deadhead short, and we show you the math before we book. Flat open-book pricing: $325 per truck per week or 4.5 percent of linehaul. A one-ton pulling a 40 foot trailer is a specialty, and specialty freight should pay specialty rates. We treat your truck like the tool it is, and we do not book loads that beat it up for nothing.
